Introducing the bands

Il sottoscritto un mese fa ha iniziato a diffondere annunci per trovare un gruppetto musicale con cui suonare qualcosa. Volevo trovare gente con cui suonare, ma ho trovato molto di più: uno spaccato di una realtà che non conoscevo, popolata da una strana fauna.
In ordine di apparizione, le risposte sono arrivate da:
- Gruppo contry di Montebelluna che ha letto male "rock" e "padova"
- Gruppo affermatissimo con 2 album all’attivo che ha letto male le parole "tecnica basilare" e "alle prime armi" e mi chiede se ho presenza scenica. "So fare facce buffe, se serve".
- Gruppo il cui leader mi esorta ad accettare la sua offerta, dicendo che se non provo le cose difficili non potrò mai suonare il metal. Quando faccio presente che non è propriamente il mio obiettivo, vengo informato che tutti gli altri generi sono da "kekke" (cit.).
- Chitarrista che vuole cominciare un progetto. Ottima cosa. Trovato anche il bassista. Il chitarrista ci sottopone un riff di 20 secondi, il bassista "bello, io ci metterei il theremin, poi distorsione e delay del charleston, e poi subentrano i cori". Poi misteriosamente sparisce nel nulla. Abbiamo avuto Brian Wilson e ce lo siamo fatti sfuggire!!
- Gruppo di Rovigo che vuole fare cover ac/dc. "niente cover", come scritto nell’annuncio, viene interpretato come "voglio cover". Rispondo che la mia tecnica è basilare, ma non al punto da dover suonare gli ac/dc, e che se avesse voluto avrei potuto registrare un ritmo che poi sarebbe andato bene a tutte le loro canzoni.
- Gruppo capitanato da leader carismatico che non ha tempo da perdere:"cerchiamo batteria siamo a s.giorgio in bosco questo è il nostro myspace provino venerdì prossimo alle 20 sala prove portati i piatti". Immagino quale piacere possa celarsi nel suonare con lui.
- COVER BAND DI NEK. A cui chiedo "ma per fare le cover di nek serve suonare strumenti?"
Ad ogni modo qualcosa dovrei aver trovato finalmente. Il mondo avrà presto mie notizie!
